Lamont McClure was on Northampton County Council from 2006-2015.
Lamont's distinguished career in public service and dedication to the citizens of Northampton County make him an excellent choice for County Executive. Lamont was a central figure in preventing the sale of Northampton County's Nursing Home, known as Gracedale. He previously represented District 3 of Northampton County which includes: Allen Township, Bethlehem Township, Lower Nazareth Township, Lower Saucon Township, Nazareth, Northampton, North Catasauqua and Williams Township. Lamont is an attorney who worked for the Law Offices of Peter Angelos in Bethlehem, PA. He currently is the full-time Northampton County Executive. He resides in Bethlehem Township with his wife Sandy and son Luke.
